About me

Hi, I’m India

I'm India, an experienced disability support worker and special education teacher with over 13 years supporting children and adults living with disability across a range of settings.

My background includes supported independent living, recreation programs, community access, life-skills development, transition-to-work programs, special education, aged care and mental health support. Through my work in education and disability services I've developed a strong understanding of navigating the NDIS and coordinating supports.

I bring a practical, person-centred approach focused on building confidence, independence, communication and meaningful community participation. I especially enjoy helping young people and adults develop real-world life skills, explore employment pathways, build social confidence and work toward greater independence, in ways that feel meaningful to them.

I’m also experienced in

  • Medication administration
  • PEG feeding
  • Manual handling
  • Community participation support
  • Capacity-building & independence-focused support
  • Social & communication skill development
